Haris

Where are you these days?
I’m currently going to school at Kolding and I’m doing the IB course.

What was it like to make the transition from ISB into a new environment?
It is quite different from ISB in terms of the format with classes, but because I already had experience with IB it was not a radical change.

What part of the transition have you found the most challenging?
There is a bit of an increase in homework than what we were used to at ISB.

What did you carry with you from ISB that’s been the most valuable?
What I got from ISB that has been quite helpful is knowledge about the IB system and how it works which can make the workload easier because you know what you need to achieve.

What do you miss the most?
I miss the teachers and the staff most, of course.

Now that you’ve been out in the “real” world for a while, how has your view of ISB changed?
It made me realize just how many skills from ISB that have been taught which can be used and applied in real world scenarios.

How has your thinking about your own future changed since this time last year?
I don’t have such a clear idea of what I want to do because I now realize there are so many different things that I might be able to do.

What advice do you have for the current M5s?
In terms of advice for the M5’s: don’t stress just listen to the teachers because they know what they are doing and if you listen to them, it should be smooth sailing.

What do you plan on doing next?
In terms of what I’m going to do next I would have to think a little bit more about that.
