After School

ISB’s After School Club is offered for Kindergarten and Primary and runs from 14:00 to 17:00 (16:00 on Fridays).  The typical schedule is snack, followed by time outdoors, and then optional activities and free-play, both inside and out.  After School Club is an obligatory part of the school fee.

Find community-based extracurriculars below.

After School Club staff are careful to ensure that children check out upon leaving.  If someone other than a parent or regular caregiver is picking up a child, it is important to let staff know by submitting a note on ManageBac.  Special ongoing permissions (for example allowing a child to leave every day at the time of their choosing) can be made by contacting the relevant After School coordinator.

Extracurricular activities

In Denmark, most sports and music classes are organised through clubs, rather than through schools. Below you'll find links to several such organisations in Billund. All sites are in Danish, but don't hesitate to contact the clubs directly - they are very welcoming and speak English!
