Passion Day
Developed as part of the Pedagogy of Play project, Passion Day is an opportunity for children to spend time pursuing their own interests with the support of enthusiastic teachers and inspiring resources. We celebrate Passion Day three times a year, and it touches upon almost every one of the paradoxes: it is a day where children lead the way in suggesting and choosing activities, mess and healthy risk are encouraged, and a suspended schedule creates time for deep immersion. Check out the video below and read more about the development of Passion Day in one of our very first Pictures of Practice!
